Job Description

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Podiatrist to join our Community Health team. As a Community Podiatrist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality foot health services to patients in community settings, including health centers, domiciliary, and residential homes.

You will work closely with our district nursing colleagues, the acute MDfT, and the Surgical Appliances department to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex foot conditions, including diabetes, rheumatoid, and vascular/ischaemic long-term conditions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing and planning individual patient care
  • Delivering patient care in various clinical settings
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating in specialist clinical rotations, including nail surgery, biomechanics clinic, and acute MDfT wound clinic

We offer a supportive environment with regular supervision and access to our Preceptorship Programme. If you have excellent clinical skills, experience in treating patients with complex foot conditions, and a passion for delivering high-quality care, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements:

  • Registered with the HCPC
  • Degree in Podiatry with Local Anaesthesia certificate
  • Ability to work flexibly and drive a car for work purposes
