About the Role:

As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our client's manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for conducting site inspections, interpreting technical drawings, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect Site Operations: Conduct regular inspections of the production floor to ensure adherence to procedures and quality standards.
  • Verify Supplier Deliveries: Measure and inspect incoming supplies to verify conformance with drawings and purchase orders.
  • Analyze Data: Monitor statistical process control data and prepare First Article reports.
  • Investigate Non-Conformities: Identify and investigate non-conforming products using precision measuring equipment.
  • Authorise Products: Authorise and sign off products as acceptable with approved identification stamps.

Requirements:

  • Education: Relevant education or certification in quality assurance or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years' experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Salary Range: £33,461 to £34,473 per annum.
