Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with colleagues to plan and execute audits in line with the audit methodology to provide high-quality audit assurance and insights over material financial risks facing Aviva.
  • Communicate and report to stakeholders the assessment of the effectiveness of the framework of controls, root causes, and culture.
  • Input to and manage stakeholder relationships at a senior management level within the business.
  • Support the transformation and continual improvement of the Internal Audit function.

Requirements:
  • Professional qualification (e.g. audit, accountancy, compliance, insurance) or equivalent business experience.
  • Technical skills/experience of working in an insurance company or relevant financial services function, audit/consultancy firm, or UK regulator.
  • Analytical skills/experience of identifying and appraising risks and controls, whether in a first, second-, or third-line role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Salary: national - circa £60,000, London - circa £75,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
  • Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary (actual amount depends on performance and Aviva's).
