Inventory Control Specialist

The role of Supply Chain Planner involves maintaining inventory levels, maximising supplier discounts, and ensuring optimal stock holding. This permanent position will be based within a small procurement team in Shrewsbury.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining system inventory levels
- Maximising supplier discounts and performance
- Ensuring optimum stock level holding
- Using MRP for forecasting
- Planning and expediting orders
- Assisting in sourcing new suppliers
- Raising purchase orders and receiving deliveries
Requirements:
This excellent opportunity requires a candidate with experience in stock control, purchasing, or supply chain roles. You should possess a high attention to detail, be well-organised, motivated, reliable, and flexible. Additionally, you should demonstrate an analytical approach, be proficient in MS Excel, and have excellent communication skills.
Location: The role is commutable from various locations including Telford, Oswestry, Market Drayton, Wolverhampton, Stafford, Bridgnorth, and Ironbridge.
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per year.
