The Electrical Maintenance Specialist role at Peel Ports Group offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and experience in electrical maintenance. As a key member of the Clydeport Engineering Department, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance work to ensure the safe and effective operation of our electrical equipment.

Your Role

You will work closely with the Engineering Team to identify and resolve electrical faults, using fault-finding diagnostic equipment to minimise the reactive maintenance impact. You will also work towards becoming an appointed authorised person for HV and LV systems as per the Peel Ports Electrical Safety Management Systems.

You will propose tactical solutions to ensure activities stay on schedule and expand your skills to become multi-skilled in mechanical and electrical engineering to contribute to the ongoing success of the team.

Requirements

You will have experience of maintaining electrical equipment in a heavy industrial sector, and be used to working effectively in a critical and busy environment. Prior experience of High Voltage and Three Phase systems is desirable, and you may be required to travel to other sites within the cluster to provide cover on occasion.

Estimated Salary: £56,250 per annum, based on a 40 hour week and annual leave.
