About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Waste Management Consultant to join our team at WasteRecruit Ltd. As a key member of our consultancy group, you will play a crucial role in shaping the direction of our Waste and Resource Management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Waste Management Strategies: Collaborate with our clients to design and implement effective waste management strategies that align with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct Comprehensive Waste Audits and Feasibility Studies: Conduct thorough waste audits and feasibility studies to identify opportunities for improvement and develop sustainable waste management solutions.
  • Provide Technical Expertise: Offer technical expertise in waste processing, recycling technologies, anaerobic digestion, thermal conversion, and other energy recovery methods to support our clients' waste management needs.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with our cross-functional teams to design and implement waste management solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, resource management, biology, or a related environmental field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in the waste management sphere, with a strong understanding of UK waste management regulations, environmental legislation, and waste developments.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel across the EMEA region as required.
