Splunk Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Splunk Engineer to join our Cyber Security Operations team in the Aerospace, Defence and Security Sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the health of our Security technology stack, implementing and assisting SOC Analysts in support of MSSP services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the health of our Security technology stack, including Splunk, Azure Sentinel, and IBM QRadar.
- Implement and assist SOC Analysts in support of MSSP services to customers.
- Perform extensive troubleshooting of security and SIEM based technologies.
- Design and implement security solutions with 'security in mind' based on customer requirements.
- Hold appropriate certifications, including Splunk Cloud Certified Admin Certificate or Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin Certificate, and have firsthand experience using AWS and Azure.
- Security Engineering experience, with a strong background in operating at a Senior Level.
- Strong coding skills and effective SIEM design, setup, configuration, and tuning experience.
- Azure Sentinel or IBM QRadar experience is desirable but not essential.
- AWS and Azure certifications and experience are required.
