Job Title: ATEX Inspector

Bridges Electrical Engineers is seeking a highly skilled ATEX Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe installation and maintenance of electrical systems in hazardous areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct hazardous area inspections to ensure compliance with BS7671 and Bridges Electrical Safety Rules and Essential Standards
  • Ensure that all electrical installations meet the highest standards of quality and safety
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and mitigate potential safety risks
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to Electrical Improvers and Apprentices
  • Act as an ambassador for Bridges Electrical Engineers, promoting our values and commitment to safety and quality
Requirements:
  • ECS card/JIB Gold card
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • CompEx EX01-04
  • Experience in water, construction, or industrial industries
  • Excellent communication and client engagement skills
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks effectively
Desirable:
  • EUSR
  • PASMA/IPAF/Confined space
  • Experience of ATEX inspections and DSEAR regulations
  • City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5 Test and Inspection qualified
