About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Reliability Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Amazon TA. As a key member of our Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards and regulations, and promote a culture of safety within the team.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct planned preventative maintenance on a range of equipment, including material handling equipment and automation systems.
  • Breakdown Response: React quickly to equipment breakdowns, communicate effectively with affected parties, and work efficiently to resolve issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance equipment availability and efficiency.
  • Equipment Availability: Provide high levels of equipment availability to internal customers, and work to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
  • Team Support: Collaborate with senior reliability engineering technicians and other team members to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Contractor Management: Manage contractors and external vendors to ensure effective delivery of services and maintenance activities.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with country-specific legislation and regulations, and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Served a full engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant engineering subject.
  • Experience: Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines, with experience of planned preventative maintenance systems, fault finding within material handling equipment and automation systems, and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Preferred Qualifications: HNC, HND, BSc, BEng, or equivalent qualifications in a relevant field.
