We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Frailty Consultant to join our dynamic and successful front door Frailty and Acute Medicine service. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering our vision for an integrated system-wide approach to Frailty and Acute Medicine.
Main Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, safe, and compassionate care to acutely ill medical patients admitted to our hospital.
- Participate in Trust Clinical Governance activities, including audit, mortality review, and appraisal process.
- Teach, train, and supervise doctors, nurses, and students to promote a positive and supportive atmosphere.
- Lead the Frailty team while on direct clinical care and attend regular team meetings.
- Engage with service improvement meetings, ICS meetings, and other relevant governance meetings.
- Support education programs for junior staff and work closely with the Emergency department and Acute medicine teams.
