Job Title: Care Assistant for Young Individual

Location: Milton Keynes

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate care assistant to join our team and provide high-quality support to a 15-year-old girl with complex needs.

About the Role
  • This position involves providing personalized care and assistance to our client, working closely with a nurse to ensure her physical and emotional well-being.
Shifts and Scheduling

We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate various needs, including:

  • Term time: Monday to Friday, 3:30 pm - 10:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm.
  • Non-term time: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 7:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities
  • Implement seizure management strategies.
  • Administer oxygen therapy as required.
  • Engage in sensory play activities.
  • Provide personal care services.
  • Pursue play therapy techniques.

Requirements and Expectations
  • Utilize complex care equipment and perform complex care procedures with ease.
  • Accompany clients outside the home for medical appointments when necessary.
  • Nurture strong relationships with patients and their families within the home environment.
  • Ensure adherence to care plans and escalate any changes to clinical leads efficiently and safely.

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
