Support Worker

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Support Worker to join our team at a leading nursing home in the Weymouth, Dorset area. You will be working for a reputable healthcare provider that specializes in general and dementia nursing, residential, and respite care for the elderly.
This nursing home is currently rated as 'Good' by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and offers a supportive and inclusive environment for residents. As a Support Worker, your key duties will include:
- Providing high-quality care and support to residents, promoting their well-being and independence
- Assisting with daily tasks, including personal care assistance, days out, and companionship
- Encouraging residents to participate in activities and engage with their daily routines
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues to the management team
The successful Support Worker will receive a competitive salary of £12.00 per hour and the annual salary is £22,464 per annum. We offer a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, comprehensive induction and paid training programme, enhanced rates for bank holidays, recognition schemes, paid breaks, uniform provided, refer a friend scheme, costs for an enhanced DBS, and rewards for years of service.
