Live Music Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Live Music Coordinator to join our team at Music in Hospitals and Care. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the delivery of live music experiences across the North of England, improving the health and wellbeing of children and adults through the healing power of live music.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the live music program, working with professional musicians to share live music with people who may not otherwise get to experience it.
  • Prepare reports and feedback to the Live Music Manager and support the Fundraising and Communications team.
  • Inform the Live Music Manager of progress and developments, and support the delivery of services.
  • Encourage, collate, and monitor feedback reports from healthcare centers, participants, and musicians.
  • Ensure effective administration in accordance with the UK-wide system for facilitating and contracting individual health and care settings and musicians.
  • Provide copy for publications, such as the newsletter and Annual Report.
  • Support Safeguarding and Health and Safety compliance within the geographic area of responsibility.
Requirements:
  • Proven administration experience, ideally delivering a similar provision within health and social care or arts settings.
  • Effective communication skills, good knowledge and understanding of data protection, and proficiency in using MS Office and database systems.
  • Proven ability to form good working relationships both internally and externally with people on all levels.
