Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inspection Team Leader to join our team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and direct a team of inspection personnel to ensure the smooth workflow of the Inspection Department.
  2. Attend planning meetings and provide workflow direction to ensure efficient production processes.
  3. Train team members in interpreting engineering drawings for inspection purposes using advanced tools such as coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and gauges.

Requirements:

  1. Expertise in Inspection: Highly competent and experienced in gauge and CMM inspection, with the ability to programme CMMs.
  2. Skilled as a Machine Shop Inspector with prior experience in production inspection within a machine shop environment, ideally gained in aerospace and/or nuclear sectors.
  3. Maintain company housekeeping standards.

Key Performance Indicators:

On-time Delivery (OTD) for in-process and final inspections as defined on the Works Order (WO).
