Building Management Specialist

Job Summary:
">We are seeking an experienced BMS Estimator to join our team at Proactive Personnel Ltd. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing competitive bids for various building management system projects. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in BMS estimating or electrical/mechanical estimating and possess a strong understanding of industry-specific software and tools.
About the Role:

As a BMS Estimator, you will play a critical role in the tendering process, ensuring that accurate estimates are submitted to clients. Your responsibilities will include reviewing tender documentation, preparing detailed bills of materials, and liaising closely with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure bids meet client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
">- Tender Evaluation: Review tender information to assess project suitability and identify opportunities.
- Site Visits: Conduct site visits when necessary to gather project-specific information.
- Collaboration: Work with project management and technical teams to gather insights and information needed to prepare competitive bids.
- Project Handover: Provide a detailed handover to the project team, ensuring a clear understanding of the scope and pricing of works.
Qualifications and Skills:
">- Previous BMS estimating experience is preferred, but electrical or mechanical estimating experience is also beneficial.
- Familiarity with BMS systems and industry-specific software/tools is an advantage.
