Structural Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Calibre Search Ltd. As a key member of our Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions for a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop structural elements for commercial and retail projects, as well as sports and leisure facilities, and healthcare sector projects.
  • Collaborate with clients and other professionals, including architects and contractors, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies, and prepare technical reports and calculations.
  • Develop and implement design solutions using computer software, and ensure compliance with legal requirements and project health and safety standards.
  • Contribute to company objectives by achieving individual KPIs, and promote equality in the workplace.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2:1 degree in a related engineering or technical field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in a consultancy environment.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in computer software and ability to undertake complex calculations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and other professionals.
