Mechanical Design Engineer

Salary: £45,000 per year + Car allowance
Job Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
As a Mechanical Design Engineer with HVAC Recruitment, you will work within a dynamic team to deliver innovative HVAC solutions for a wide range of industrial and commercial clients. This is a key role within our design team, offering the chance to collaborate with clients, project managers, and estimators, ensuring we deliver optimal system performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop efficient HVAC systems for industrial and commercial premises, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with client requirements.
- Perform design calculations, including load assessments, duct sizing, equipment selection, and pipework layouts.
- Conduct site surveys as needed to assess project feasibility and gather design information.
- Provide technical support to the project team throughout all stages of the project lifecycle, from initial design to final installation.
- Review and critique external design submissions for accuracy, compliance, and performance.
- Coordinate effectively with clients, architects, and project teams to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems with other building services.
- Proficient in using CAD and Revit for HVAC design.
- Experience with HVAC software and system design tools.
- Competitive salary of £45,000 per year.
