We are seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner to join our Children Services team in Mid Essex. As a key member of our team, you will provide leadership and support to newly qualified or less experienced staff, deputising for the Team Manager when needed.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and mentoring to team members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the review of child in need plans, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Lead in a practice area, developing and implementing strategies to improve outcomes for children and families.
- Collaborate with other agencies and professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.
- A recognised social work qualification and current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience of supporting and mentoring ASYE's through their first year in practice.
- Social Work England Registration as a registered Social Worker.
- Evidence of continuing professional development and a commitment to ongoing learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and professionals.
