A leading national audit, tax, advisory, and risk firm with a global presence and local expertise is seeking an experienced Audit Assistant Manager to join their team in Maidstone. As a key member of the audit division, you will be responsible for leading teams on a range of audit assignments, with a particular focus on corporates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and undertake statutory audits, ensuring completion within agreed budgets and deadlines.
  • Take initiative and demonstrate leadership skills in managing audit teams and supervising audit work.
  • Act as the primary client contact during on-site fieldwork, providing exceptional client service and communication.
  • Supervise and develop audit teams, ensuring high-quality work and timely delivery.
  • Deliver high-quality audit work, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with professional standards.
  • Contribute to a continuous improvement ethos, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing changes.
  • Manage and lead assurance and risk management projects, liaising with clients and preparing client reports.

Requirements:

  • CCAB body membership (e.g., ICAEW, ACCA, ICAS, ICAI, AICPA).
  • Adequate CPD in relevant disciplines and client sectors.
  • Strong technical skills, experience, and knowledge in audit, tax, and advisory services.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
