Job Title: Personal Tax Senior
Location: West Surrey

About the Role
TPF Recruitment are seeking a Personal Tax Senior to join a dynamic team. This permanent full-time role offers hybrid and flexible working options.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients ensuring compliance with HM Revenue & Customs and internal deadlines.
  • Preparing and processing tax returns and P11Ds from client-provided information.
  • Calculating and advising on tax liabilities and payment due dates.
  • Assisting clients with queries and providing ad-hoc advice.
  • Billing personal portfolio clients upon completion of work.
  • Handling client correspondence, phone calls, and meetings.
  • Supporting partners and staff with technical tax queries.
  • Assisting junior team members as needed.
  • Preparing technical reports related to income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax.
  • Dealing with HMRC correspondence, phone calls, and inquiries.
  • Providing general support to the tax team.

Requirements
  • Experience in a private client tax team.
  • Ideal ATT qualification.
  • Self-starter with high resilience and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong IT skills with the ability to learn new technology quickly.
  • Positive, proactive, and commercial mindset.
  • Confident, tactful, and discreet.
  • Strong team spirit and ability to work independently.
