Job Title: Head of Estimating

AVK-SEG is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Estimating to join our Power Solutions Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of our pricing process, working closely with the sales team to deliver high-quality bids, tenders, and quotations that meet our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drawings and Documents: Prepare and analyze drawings and documents for the tender process, ensuring that all necessary information is accurately captured and presented.
  2. Subcontractor and Manufacturer Enquiries: Distribute enquiries to subcontractors and manufacturers, ensuring timely and accurate responses to meet client expectations.
  3. Cost Research: Conduct thorough research to identify and analyze costs, ensuring that our pricing is competitive and meets client expectations.
  4. Exchange Rates and Pricing: Analyze exchange rates and pricing to ensure that our quotations are accurate and competitive.
  5. Risk and Opportunity Identification: Identify and report on potential risks and opportunities, ensuring that our team is aware of any potential issues or areas for improvement.
  6. Tender Compliance: Ensure that all tenders are compliant with Health & Safety legislation and AVK-SEG policies.
  7. Project Sales Support: Provide support to the Project Sales team in accurately recording client expectations and requirements.
