Linux Systems Administrator Job Description

TEAM Careers is seeking a skilled Linux Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of all servers, software, and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively monitor and maintain Linux servers to ensure optimal performance.
  • Install and configure Linux software to meet business requirements.
  • Ensure network infrastructure is up-to-date and running correctly.
  • Implement robust backup and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Provide remote access support to users and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Perform administrative tasks for external systems as needed.
  • Maintain printing systems and ensure seamless printing operations.
  • Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure high availability.
  • Respond to and resolve IT incidents in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement IT strategies.
