Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform 12 block segmentation analysis to categorize and assess inventory, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  2. Generate and review cancellation reports to identify and address inventory discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  3. Maintain the NIMD - Transactional Health Scorecard to monitor and report on inventory health, providing insights for data-driven decision-making.
  4. Oversee NIMD - Inventory Relocation to optimize inventory distribution and availability, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  5. Develop and track key inventory metrics to ensure efficient inventory management and lower inventory levels, aligning with business objectives.
  6. Conduct Work In Progress (WIP) aging reviews to identify and mitigate potential delays and obsolescence, ensuring smooth production and delivery.
  7. Provide monthly analysis of inventory health, highlighting key issues and trends, and recommending improvements.
  8. Prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly summaries focused on inventory impacts and actions related to raw materials (RM), finished goods (FG), work in progress (WIP), gross inventory, and net inventory, providing insights for informed decision-making.
  9. Facilitate 10 to 12 reduction exercises annually to minimize WC inventory levels, ensuring optimal inventory utilization and reducing costs.
  10. Support Demand-Driven Operating Model (DDOM) initiatives to align inventory with business needs and reduce excess, ensuring efficient and effective inventory management.
  11. Review redeployment opportunities with various locations and push them to move items, ensuring optimal utilization of inventory across the organization.
  12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement inventory strategies and improvements, ensuring seamless integration and effective execution.
  13. Assist in other activities aimed at drawing down the WC inventory, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  14. Travel as and when required, ensuring timely and effective execution of tasks and responsibilities.
  15. Ensure all company policies surrounding purchasing, health & safety, quality requirements, and housekeeping are met, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
  16. Fully accountable for achieving all relevant KPIs, ensuring timely and effective execution of tasks and responsibilities.
  17. Any other duties that may be required from time to time commensurate with the grade of the job, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields, or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  2. Experience in coordinating and managing projects related to inventory management and data cleanup, ensuring effective and efficient execution.
  3. Experience in managing inventory relocation and optimizing inventory distribution, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  4. Experience in conducting WIP aging reviews and inventory health assessments, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  5. Advanced knowledge of ERP Systems, ensuring seamless integration and effective execution.
  6. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and particularly Excel and Power Point, ensuring effective and efficient data analysis and presentation.
  7. Familiarity with some data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Incorta, Cognos in an administrative capacity, ensuring effective and efficient data visualization and communication.
  8. Proficiency in segmentation analysis and generating detailed reports, ensuring accurate and timely data analysis and presentation.
  9. Proficiency in preparing and presenting detailed monthly and quarterly inventory reports, ensuring effective and efficient communication and decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Proficiency in inventory management software and tools, ensuring seamless integration and effective execution.
