About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Digital Waffle. As a key member of our squad, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based applications using AWS technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud-based systems using AWS services such as Node.JS, Vue.JS, NestJS, and TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Develop and maintain front-end applications using JavaScript technologies, including React and Angular.
  • Work closely with our data management team to design and implement data storage solutions using relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to clean coding practices, including readability, maintainability, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of industry-standard software development practices, including testing, code reviews, and immutability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building production-ready systems.
  • Experience with one of Python, C#, Golang, or Java.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing and AWS services.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex systems and understand their interactions.
