Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Rust Engineer to join our team at Blockchain Works. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and architecting high-performance backend systems, with a focus on Rust and Python.

The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using mainly Rust, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. They will also collaborate with frontend engineers and other team members to integrate backend systems with user-facing components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop High-Performance Backend Systems: Utilize Rust and Python to create efficient and scalable backend systems.
  • Collaborate with Frontend Engineers: Work closely with frontend engineers to integrate backend systems with user-facing components.
  • Write Unit Tests: Ensure code quality and maintainability by writing unit tests using appropriate testing frameworks.
  • Integrate with Continuous Integration Systems: Streamline development and deployment processes by integrating with continuous integration systems.

Requirements:

  • 3+ Years of Experience in Backend Systems Development: Strong experience in developing and architecting high-performance backend systems in Rust.
  • Experience with AWS Services: Proficiency in using AWS services such as EC2, Timestream, and DynamoDB.
  • High-Performance Software Development: Experience in developing high-performance, multi-threaded software and optimizing code at a high level.
