About the Role

As our new Associate Director of Alumni & Supporter Relations, you will lead a talented, creative and fun team that works with our 430,000+ alumni in 190 countries, to keep them engaged and active within our global community. You will be responsible for the delivery of a gold-standard alumni engagement strategy and experience, thinking through the entire journey from prospective student to retiree and the best ways to engage people at the different stages of life and areas of interests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive alumni engagement strategy to foster a sense of community and connection among alumni
  • Lead a team of professionals to design and deliver engaging experiences for alumni, including events, communications, and online platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of alumni engagement efforts with other university initiatives
  • Develop and manage budgets to support alumni engagement initiatives
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of alumni engagement efforts and make data-driven decisions to improve outcomes

About You

This role requires a confident and hands-on leader with sophisticated interpersonal skills and well-developed emotional intelligence and cultural competency. You will be able to bring diverse groups of stakeholders together from across the organization towards achieving a shared purpose. Demonstrating the ability to operate strategically and tactically, you will play a key role as part of the Advancement senior management team, aligning activities and ensuring that the community has a joined-up and seamless experience.
