About the Job:

  • You will work closely with children, young people, and their families to understand their unique circumstances and concerns.
  • Developing a deep understanding of each child's situation, you will provide expert advice to the family court on what is safe and in their best interests.
  • You will engage with a wide range of professionals, including social workers, teachers, and healthcare providers, to gather information and evidence to inform your recommendations.
  • You will present your findings and recommendations to the court in a clear and concise manner, using your expertise to advocate for the child's needs.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • You must be a registered Social Worker with Social Work England.
  • You should have a degree in Social Work or a related field, such as Child Development or Psychology.
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse groups of people.
  • You have a deep understanding of child development, psychology, and sociology, and can apply this knowledge to inform your practice.

Salary and Benefits: £41,550 - £46,332 per annum, plus excellent benefits package, including training and development opportunities.
