Job Title:

Commercial Risk Management Director

At LGBT Great, we are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Risk Management Director to lead our UK Commercial Risks Broking team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our overall market and broking strategy, collaborating across segments and maximizing delivery of client value from across the totality of our broking, technical and operational capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy Leadership: Develop and oversee the execution of our overall market and broking strategy, collaborating across segments and maximizing delivery of client value from across the totality of our broking, technical and operational capabilities.
  • Business Leadership: Set the overall direction and goals for Broking and Market Management in our London Complex and Risk Managed broking teams. Work collaboratively with our Global Broking Centre, EMEA Broking operations and Aon Underwriting Management (AUM) colleagues to jointly develop strategies and plans.
  • Proposition and Product Development: Drive strategy for facilities and their utilisations with a focus upon Aon only products that help to differentiate us to retain and win clients.
  • Market experience across Global and Specialty with an in-depth knowledge of all classes of commercial insurance.
  • Extensive network within the insurance market at senior level.
  • Commercial foresight and negotiation skills of the highest order.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, capable of dealing with domestic, multinational and global clients, business colleagues and external bodies.
