**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly experienced Tax Senior to join our team in Belfast. As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing excellent taxation compliance, advisory, and planning services.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Support a varied portfolio of clients, providing excellent taxation compliance, advisory, and planning services
* Preparation of tax returns
* Assist with tax reporting and the provision of compliance and advisory services
* Liaise with third parties to collate tax return information
* Ensure HMRC compliance with relevant statutory requirements
* Research regularly to interpret changes in tax laws and regulations
* Nurture meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues alike
* Mentor junior staff, reviewing work and delivering training to aid their development

**Requirements**

* ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified, part-qualified or with the desire to begin studying
* Qualified by experience also considered
* A proven track record of managing a portfolio within practice
* Highly personable and an excellent communicator, both on paper and in person
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues alike
* Highly organised, with the ability to manage your own workload autonomously
* Good at working under pressure to ensure deadlines and targets are met
* Self-motivated, professional and reliable, with a keen eye for detail
* Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel etc
* An enthusiasm to progress within the firm, undertaking continuous professional development
