Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Reablement Team in the West Midlands. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized therapy plans to support individuals in achieving their goals.
  • Collaborate with care agencies and carers to set up effective therapy programs and ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Provide guidance and support to new staff members to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Work closely with the team to identify and address complex cases, including those requiring moving and handling expertise.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carers, and other stakeholders to ensure excellent care outcomes.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of best practices in occupational therapy.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in a similar setting.
  • Strong moving and handling knowledge and single-handed skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
