Plumbing and Heat Pump Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled plumber and heat pump engineer to join our team. This role involves working on new build projects, general plumbing, and installing air source heat pumps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install air source heat pumps, cylinders, and associated plumbing systems on new build sites.
• Conduct first and second fix plumbing and heating installations.
• Carry out pressure testing, flushing, and system commissioning.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to plumbing and heating systems.
• Collaborate with site managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure project timelines are met.
• Perform quality checks and ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and MCS standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and system performance.
• Occasionally perform servicing and maintenance of heat pump systems.

Requirements:

• Qualifications:
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent).
• Gas Safe registration (desirable but not essential).
• WRAS certification or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in plumbing and heating installation.
• Prior experience installing air source heat pumps is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with working on new build projects and interpreting technical drawings.

Working Hours and Location:
