Rigging Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Rigging Specialist to join our team at the prestigious Hinkley Point C project. This is a unique chance to contribute to the construction of the UK's first-ever 3rd generation nuclear power plant, shaping a sustainable future.
About the Role- You will play a pivotal role in building the UK's clean energy future by working within the MEH Alliance, collaborating effectively to deliver complex piping and cabling systems.
- Your key responsibilities will include planning and managing lifts using subcontracted mobile cranes (including very heavy lift cranes), operating overhead cranes, establishing and executing complex lifting operations and critical tasks, and carrying out structural steelwork erection and rigging activities.
- Proven experience in lifting complex and heavy objects, such as pressure piping, tanks, and structural steelwork.
- Experience working on major construction projects.
- NVQ 3 / ACE Card or equivalent in Erecting (for all Rigging and Erecting tasks) or in Moving Loads (for Rigging tasks only).
- CCNSG Safety Passport and IOSH Managing Safely qualifications.
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary, estimated to be around £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus an exceptional benefits package that includes a generous holiday allowance, contributory pension scheme, and more.
