As a key member of the Engineering Team, your primary accountability is to provide safe and highly reliable equipment to manufacturing colleagues, achieved through a healthy balance of hands-on maintenance competence, equipment knowledge, analysis of equipment performance, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all site assets are maintained to a high standard and meet site requirements and are always available.
  • To ensure optimum performance of the manufacturing plants and equipment at best value cost and effective use of resource.
  • Execute planned and unplanned maintenance activities to agreed standards, ensuring safe working always.
  • Positively affect plant reliability through practical intervention on improvement activities, maintenance procedures, and on plant stoppages.
  • Ensure a robust and clearly communicated safe system of work is applied for all activities that you undertake – properly risk assessed.
  • To deliver on relevant Engineering Key Performance Indicators.
  • Contribute to the development of existing and new maintenance procedures.
