Job Opportunity: Professional Indemnity Trading Underwriter

Heat Recruitment is seeking a skilled Professional Indemnity Trading Underwriter to join our client's team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for underwriting new and renewal Professional Indemnity business within your authority.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Underwrite new and renewal Professional Indemnity business within your authority.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a network of brokers, delivering exceptional service and market-leading solutions.
  • Identify and drive new business opportunities to support the growth of the PI division.
  • Collaborate closely with the existing team to ensure a cohesive approach to market strategies and underwriting risk.
  • Provide technical expertise and insights into Professional Indemnity insurance, offering bespoke solutions tailored to client needs.
Requirements:
  • A well-established professional with a strong technical understanding of Professional Indemnity insurance.
  • A proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with brokers, ideally with an existing network within the PI space.
  • Ambition and drive to contribute to the growth of the division, with a focus on new business development.
  • Experience working as an underwriter or a wholesale executive with significant experience covering PI.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the confidence to take ownership and accountability.
