Capital PMO Director

As we continue to expand our capital investment, we are seeking a Capital PMO Director to lead our Capital Programme Management Office. This role will oversee the effective management of Heathrow's Investment Portfolio, ensuring the delivery of key transformational objectives and driving business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team of PMO services in collaboration with Programmes, Strategy, People & Finance teams.
  • Develop and implement best practice Project Management processes to support the effective management of the Investment Portfolio.
  • Provide Management Information to enable effective decision making and ensure effective management of resources to deliver the Portfolio.
  • Drive the extent to which the digital agenda helps the organisation achieve its strategic goals through intelligent, reliable, and timely data.
  • Implement the Heathrow Programme Controls strategy to establish consistency and quality service delivery.
  • Assure and scrutinise Programmes and Projects through the Gateway process to ensure robust business cases and capital efficiency.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in programme controls on major infrastructure projects and programmes.
  • Professionally qualified or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction, Project, Programme Management, or General Business or numerate Degree.
  • Substantial experience in change management and project controls tools and systems.
