**Company Overview:** Blue Zoo Production is seeking a talented and innovative Children's Content Developer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for developing and producing high-quality content for preschool children.

**Salary:** £42,000 - £52,000 per annum

**Job Description:*

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Children's Content Developer with a strong background in producing engaging content for children. You will work closely with our creative team to conceptualize, develop, and produce interactive content that meets the highest standards of quality and educational value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Digital Games team to develop and produce high-quality apps and games tailored for preschool children.
  • Generate and develop ideas for new digital experiences, working with the product architect to map out the project design document.
  • Manage the entire project lifecycle, from ideation through to launch, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and educational objectives.
  • Oversee project schedules and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Carry out user testing at schools and nurseries, and test games and apps for bugs.
  • Offer solutions to increase efficiency and engagement within Blue Zoo's games and apps.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including brand partners, internal teams, and external clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, promoting a collaborative and creative culture within the team.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to inform project development and innovative approaches.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in mobile and educational games/digital platforms for children.
  • Experience in content ideation and execution for the pre-school digital market - end-to-end examples would be beneficial.
  • A good understanding of the broader and changing landscapes of Children's Apps and Games landscape.
  • Minimum of two years working within this field.
  • Strong understanding of preschool development stages and how to create engaging and educational content for young audiences.
  • Previous management experience, with a track record of successfully running projects and leading teams.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and appreciation of the importance of brand integrity.
  • An understanding of creating content for children, including an awareness of the implications of COPPA and GDPR laws.
  • A solid understanding of what makes content fun for children.

**Estimated Salary:** £48,000 - £58,000 per annum
