We are seeking an experienced Clinical Coder to join our team at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality clinical coding services.

About the Role

This Senior Clinical Coder post is a key position in our Clinical Coding team, responsible for assigning accurate and consistent codes to patient data. As a Senior Clinical Coder, you will be expected to work independently, with minimal supervision, and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Possess the National Clinical Coding Qualification (NCCQ) UK or be willing to work towards it.
  • Have extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.

In addition to your technical expertise, we are looking for someone who is able to work effectively as part of a team, communicate complex information clearly, and maintain accurate records.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is between £40,000 and £55,000 per annum.
