Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrumentation Maintenance Specialist to join our team at VRS-UK. As a key member of our laboratory support team, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of a range of HPLC and GC instrumentation. This is a rewarding opportunity to develop your skills in the effective management of a small team, training and mentoring 2 direct reports, and ensuring daily workloads are scheduled and regular performance reviews are undertaken.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance of HPLC and GC instrumentation
  • Train and mentor 2 direct reports in instrumentation maintenance and laboratory support
  • Ensure daily workloads are scheduled and regular performance reviews are undertaken
  • Supervise and coordinate laboratory support activities

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in instrumentation maintenance and laboratory support
  • Strong technical knowledge of HPLC and GC instrumentation
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
