About the Role

We are seeking an experienced insurance professional to join our team as a Domestic Major Loss Adjuster. As a key member of our Technical Claims function, you will be responsible for handling complex domestic claims, providing a customer-focused and cost-effective service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle high-value and complex domestic claims from instruction to completion, within agreed financial authority limits.
  • Provide a customer-focused and cost-effective service, handling both household and residential commercial claims.
  • Travel across the UK, visiting customers and completing customer visits as an integral part of your role.
  • Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our customers.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of handling complex home claims, with exposure to losses in excess of £100,000.
  • Deep knowledge of technical insurance principles, including subrogation, underwriting practices, and full ABI report writing.
  • Understanding of building practices and regulations in relation to property reinstatements and tendering processes.
  • Proven track record of managing claims cradle to grave with an intense focus on customer satisfaction and service.
