Community Activity Specialist

As a Bank Activities Coordinator at a Barchester care home, you'll be responsible for designing and delivering imaginative, fun and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability of our residents. You'll work closely with residents and their families to develop tailored activities programmes that maximise their wellbeing, independence and social engagement. This is an extremely rewarding role that requires strong organisational skills, a driven mind-set and infectious enthusiasm.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver engaging activities programmes for residents
* Work closely with residents and their families to understand their needs and interests
* Collaborate with staff to ensure seamless delivery of activities programmes
Requirements
* No specific qualifications required, as training will be provided
* Previous similar experience would be ideal
* Strong organisational skills and a driven mind-set
* Infectious enthusiasm and creative approach to inspiring residents and staff
Estimated Salary
£25,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience.
