Job Description

Rapier is seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 Driver to join our team on a day shift basis. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for collecting goods from client locations, strapping loads down, and delivering to our business locations in the South East and South West of the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collecting goods from client locations
  • Strapping loads down
  • Delivering goods to our business locations
Requirements:
  • Held Class 1 licence for at least 1 year
  • Minimum of continuous driving for the past 6 months
  • A valid CPC
  • A valid Tacho Card
  • Maximum 6 points
Working Hours:

Day shift could start from 4am to 4pm. Five day working week over a 7 day period or days as required or to fit with your availability.

Pay:

Monday to Friday day rate £15.93 per hour. Saturday day rate £23.90 per hour. Sunday/Bank holidays £31.86 per hour.

Induction:

The induction is fully paid and lasts for a whole week Monday to Friday. The induction consists of a full driving assessment and online theory test covering driver hours, highway code, and driver hazard perception.
