Job Title: Plant Mechanic

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £26,000 to £33,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

We are seeking a skilled Plant Mechanic to join our team. As a Plant Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant machinery, including small chippers, tractors, chainsaws, and heavy weight machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues with 2-stroke, diesel, and petrol engines
  • Maintain high safety standards and attention to detail
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Provide excellent problem-solving skills

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in mechanical roles, specifically with plant machinery
  • NVQ in Maintenance and Engineering - ideal
