Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at The Staveley Centre, a 32-bedded Community Care Centre and Residential Home for Older Adults. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of work in our busy kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and service.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook high-quality meals for residents and café customers
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and staff supervision
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards
- Develop and implement menus that meet individual nutritional and dietary needs
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and safe working environment
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- City & Guilds 706/1 level/NVQ Level II or equivalent experience
- Sound knowledge of health and safety and food hygiene regulations
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide high-quality service
