National Pest Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced National Pest Control Manager to oversee our pest management operations at Deeside Head Office. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of pest control and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity has arisen due to an increase in pest activity during our winter months, which leaves our stores more vulnerable to infestation. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing pest control programs, ensuring seamless operations, and minimizing disruptions to business activities.
Main Responsibilities- Continuously review and maintain our company's processes around pest management to ensure they remain effective and compliant with industry standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that enhance our pest control capabilities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external service providers to source high-quality pest control services.
- Analyze data and trends to optimize our pest control strategies and minimize costs.
To succeed in this challenging role, you will need:
- At least 5 years' experience in a similar position, preferably within the food processing or retail industry.
- Proven expertise in managing pest control programs, including implementing integrated pest management (IPM) strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including:
