Senior Management Accountant

Our client, a leading brand in the UK, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Accountant to join their team in Newport Pagnell. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a company that values innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and report business performance against budget and forecast, providing management information to support target achievement.
  • Produce monthly management reporting packs, ensuring balance sheet integrity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with departmental heads to provide data-driven financial advice, ensuring robust and commercially sound business decisions.
  • Lead month, quarter, and year-end accounting activities, working closely with the Finance and Accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Submit composite data and interpret and present opportunities to departmental managers.
  • Provide financial evaluations to support business decision-making and conduct ad-hoc analysis.
  • Coach colleagues to understand financial metrics and promote good business behaviors.
Requirements:
  • A proven track record of financial and interpersonal skills, with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong Excel and desktop skills.
  • Qualified or studying towards CIMA, ACCA, or competency through relevant experience.
