Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Priory Hospital Dorking, providing specialist mental health services to patients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will manage and coordinate the implementation of individual treatment plans for occupational therapy services, ensuring effective application and communication. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Receiving and responding promptly to referrals, undertaking patient assessments to identify and prioritise patient needs.
  2. Planning and delivering appropriate interventions on an individual or group basis, maintaining accurate and timely records.
  3. Ensuring the effective management of more junior staff.
  4. Maintaining close working relationships with professional and clinical colleagues within the multidisciplinary team.
About You

To be successful as an Occupational Therapist, you'll need a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy, full BAOT membership, and HPC registration. Relevant experience working within specialised areas is essential. Additional expertise such as DBT and CBT for Psychosis would be advantageous.
