Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic History Educator to join our team at Wayman Education. As a History Educator, you will be responsible for teaching History to students in a mixed secondary school with a 'Good' Ofsted rating.

About the Role:

We are looking for a History Educator who is passionate about teaching and has excellent subject knowledge. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Teaching History to students in a mixed secondary school
  • Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans
  • Assessing student progress and providing feedback
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental goals

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
  • Excellent subject knowledge of History
  • Experience of teaching in a mixed secondary school
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
