We are seeking a Clinical Support Worker to join our team at Wirral University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality patient care and are committed to delivering excellent service standards.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will assist Registered Nurses and other members of the multidisciplinary team in implementing patients' care plans. They will undertake some clerical and domestic duties to ensure a safe environment and provide personal care to patients, including bathing, toileting, feeding, and care of the dying.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist with the implementation of patients' care plans.
  • Undertake clerical and domestic duties as required.
  • Provide personal care to patients.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 in Care or equivalent experience and a Care Certificate. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work under pressure.

Awareness of personal and professional limitations, ability to perform under pressure, polite, friendly, approachable, and self-motivated are essential qualities for this role.

Benefits

As a Clinical Support Worker at Wirral University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, you can expect a competitive salary, estimated around £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience. Annual leave starts at 27 days a year plus bank holidays. There is also an on-site car park and access to cycle to work schemes.
