Support Worker Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Creative Support Ltd. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and practical support to service users, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Identify and access opportunities for social inclusion, enabling service users to engage in their communities.
  • Work collaboratively with service users, families, and professionals to deliver a coordinated and person-centred service.
  • Assist with the day-to-day running of the service, under the guidance of the line manager.
Requirements:
  • A warm and empathetic approach, with a commitment to person-centred support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and colleagues.
  • A full driving license, with a willingness to use your vehicle for work-related purposes.
