We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at a leading Kent main contractor. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the commercial aspects of projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all commercial aspects of projects, including authorising payments to subcontractors and finalising accounts.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Contribute to the development of project budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor and report on project costs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a strong background in commercial management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience of project management software.
  • Chartered status or working towards it.
